on one of these days,
my hair in the wind sways.
Standing there, still almost
my sight, is that of a ghost

on one of these days,
I hoped to see a face,
it would be so known to me
it could be the one to be

on one of these days,
as only our nature makes,
I'm waiting for the leaf to fall
listening for it, me to call

Asking again with no words
for the secret that life holds
Is it just something I missed?
or was it just, why we kissed?

on one of these days
what would I see in your eyes
how should then, our sights meet
when we watch, just our feet?

on one of these days,
there are a few new graves
which one is yours which is mine
wouldn't be death just be so fine

on one of these days
my sad song for me plays
may be too much for me
around the corner I wished to be

Maybe I don't want to leave life anymore
I found the peace I went for
Let the graves be just empty memories
spare a thought for all us refugees

on one of these days,
when sorrow stays
There is a star up in the night
giving up last pieces of its light

on one of these days,
as one of the wise says,
you will find a new sort of day
but his words won't show you the way

on one of these days,
everybody for a miracle prays
so it comes and saves our world
nevermind their souls they've sold.

Still I stand there, in the cold
worries start now to mould
haven't found an answer nor a goal
my brain became a piece of coal

because when it stays
you can be the one which fades
Life sometimes reminds you of it
that's the lesson, so, you got it?

because when it stays,
and to the end it wades
a feeling of guilt... or rage
makes you caught in the cage

because when it stays,
on one of these days,
the birds will learn to fly
and leave you behind to cry

so, dont make it stay,
dont make it kill your day.
open your eyes, open your mind
come out and play, stop to hide.
