Here I stand, all alone,
As I always used to stand,
And still I try, but no success,
There's no safe haven to land.

Maybe you'll be the next,
To appear to really love me,
Will it be nothing but your wish,
Or reality that finally shall be?

Sweet words, kisses likewise,
But is your heart truly mine?
Words are just simple words,
For me they are no love sign...

Life teaches lessons hard,
Responsibility is very rare,
Cruelly wounded still am I,
To love you deeply I will not dare.

Well, say anything you want,
Say you're angel that heavens sent,
My old wound says something else,
